PAT Dog Leo changed my life

For this #FeelGoodFriday we want to share this lovely story posted by @izzies_fight_against_cp about @leoandfriendstherapydogs

"First of all, they have changed my life. They are the reason I now have two cockapoos of my own one of which is an unofficial therapy dog. Leo and all the other PAT Dogs at @sotonchildhosp have been there for me during the most major surgeries of my life, the most intense rehab in which we have tried to regain my ability to walk without success.

They have been the biggest and greatest distraction through the darkest times. They have not wanted to leave my side knowing I’m in pain. They have put their paws round me as if to say ‘everything will be ok’. Their power to make the worst situations into the best is absolutely phenomenal.

Thank you will never ever be enough. Leo and all the other PAT Dogs at Southampton Children’s Hospital are literal miracle workers!"
