A Radio 4 Appeal for Pets As Therapy

We’re delighted that actor and PAT Ambassador Josette Simon OBE is making a BBC Radio 4 Appeal on behalf of Pets As Therapy. Tune in and listen on Sunday 31 December at 7.54am or 8.25pm – the Appeal is repeated on Radio 4 on Thursday 4 January at 3.27pm.

Josette and her PAT Dog Milo, a cute grey and white Havanese, visit a children’s hospice in London. “Alongside Milo. I’ve witnessed first-hand how enriching, uplifting and valuable a visit from a PAT Pet can bring to people. And the joy that each visit brings. For both sides.

“To enable more people to benefit from this experience, I would encourage you to please give whatever you can. Pets As Therapy is an incredibly important and beneficial charity and your support will make a real difference to helping more people to receive the joy of a PAT visit.”

From Sunday 31 December until Saturday 6 January, you can donate online at BBC Radio 4 Appeal or call 0800 404 8144. A cheque to Pets As Therapy can also be sent to Freepost BBC Radio 4 Appeal (write Pets As Therapy on the back of your envelope).

Thank you.

Visit BBC Radio 4 Appeal for more info and to learn how to donate.
