Poppy is proving popular at a local primary school

Poppy, a two-year-old Cockapoo, owned by PAT Volunteer Tracy Lancaster, is loving being part of our Read2Dogs scheme. And the pupils who attend St Mary's Primary School in Chessington are thrilled to have a regular cute visitor too.

"Poppy passed her PAT assessment with flying colours this summer, however, due to the pandemic we're only just starting our volunteering journey," explains Tracy. "I'm delighted that we can now visit a school every week on a Monday, and the children and all the teachers absolutely love her."

Poppy is also loving all the attention that comes her way. "She's also enjoying the belly rubs she gets. As for me, I love to see the happiness my pet brings to other people."
