Marvellous Marley goes to school

Students at Bohunt School in Liphook, Hampshire, welcomed a very special visitor recently – PAT Dog Marley and his owner, PAT Volunteer Chloe.

The seven-year-old Labrador Retriever made a real impact with the young people in Year 7. They sat and chatted with the friendly PAT Team and left the therapy session feeling totally relaxed. Marley even won over the heart of a student who was unsure of dogs. The boy was a little worried, but he felt comfortable enough to sit with Marley for a while. Soon he was stroking his new friend and giving his pal tit-bits – much to Marley's delight!

We are always looking to recruit more volunteers.
