Lifting spirits at John Radcliffe Hospital

PAT Volunteer Kerensa Butcher got in touch to let us know about a new establishment she is visiting with her PAT Dog Thea – John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

"We visited for the first time today and Thea was an absolute superstar," Kerensa smiles. "She wasn't phased by hospital trollies, wheelchairs or any other noises, which was fabulous. She even had her first time in a lift. When the doors opened we met a very happy paramedic who received some much-needed cuddles with Thea. He was having a busy day and enjoyed the break."

It's a busy week for the PAT Team. "We're off to Helen & Douglas House tomorrow, a children's hospice."

We are always looking to recruit more volunteers.
