Pupils snuggle up to PAT Dog Baxter

When PAT Dog Baxter visits Quarry Brae Primary School in Glasgow, he doesn't just listen to stories read to him by the pupils. Sometimes he doubles up as a soft, fluffy pillow too!

Baxter is one half of a PAT Team who visit the school as part of PAT's Read2Dogs scheme. He enjoys spending time with his young friends in the Star Room, and his presence there encourages children to pick up a book and read aloud. On occasion, it can be a tiring job, so Baxter is known to lie down for a bit of a snooze. It's a good opportunity for pupils to snuggle up for a cuddle.
