All you need is Loki – and a cuddle

The first week back at work in January can always be tough, even more so if you haven't really had a festive break. So it's no wonder that hard-working NHS heroes in Newcastle upon Tyne were thrilled to see PAT Dog Loki.

Many members of hospital staff have been busy in Intensive Care Units throughout Christmas and New Year, away from their families, and they were only too eager to give a furry four-legged friend a cuddle. As you can see in this great photo, it looks like Loki was having a lovely time too.
