A top-class achievement for Charlie

Thanks to visits by PAT Dog Charlie, and his owner Laraine Burnett, a Surrey primary school has decided to make Pets As Therapy their chosen charity for future fundraising events.

The PAT Team visit Powell Corderoy Primary School in Dorking once a week to help the children feel more confident reading aloud from books.

"This term Year 3 have been reading to Charlie and they've enjoyed and benefitted from it so much," says Laraine. "They want to say thank you for the support and positive experiences they have gained from spending time with Charlie. That's why the school is going to fundraise next year for Pets As Therapy. I am thrilled."
