Legacy gifts and donations fund around a third of all our charitable work. Every gift, no matter the amount, will help to ensure people of all ages can enjoy a friendly therapeutic visit from a PAT Team.
When writing a Will it's helpful to think about the type of gift you'd like to leave. You could:
- Leave a fixed sum of money (pecuniary)
- Leave a percentage of your estate after other beneficiaries are taken care of (residuary)
- Leave a particular item, such as property, antiques or shares (specific)
Remembering someone you love
Donating in memory of someone you love or a faithful pet is also a wonderful way to celebrate a life, and it can be comforting to know that this special tribute will help others. You may wish to make a one-off gift, donate a funeral or memorial collection made in lieu of flowers or remember a loved one or animal companion regularly on a birthday or anniversary.
