Position: Trustee

Opportunity: Formed in 1983, Pets As Therapy (PAT) enhances health and wellbeing in the community through the facilitation of visits of trusted volunteers with their behaviourally assessed animals. Visiting hospitals, hospices, nursing and care homes, special needs schools and a variety of other venues throughout the UK, we enable an improved quality of life for thousands of people every year.

We want to strengthen all aspects of how we work and achieve sustainable growth, reaching and changing even more peoples’ lives and put Pets As Therapy on the map as a centre of excellence for volunteering.

To support this, we are seeking new Trustees to join the Board and help to steer the charity towards achieving its ultimate vision – a future where all people of every age across the UK who can benefit from our support are able to access our volunteers and their pets to improve their quality of life

Job Title: Project Coordinator
Salary: £20,000 to £22,000 depending on experience
Hours: 37 hours per week
Job Type: 2 year contract
Accountable to: Operations Manager
Responsible to: Chief Executive Officer
Location: Head Office, Clare Charity Centre, Wycombe Road, Saunderton, High Wycombe, Bucks, HP14 4BF
Special Conditions: Travel throughout the country, including some evening and weekend working. Full UK driving license and car owner preferred.
